I'm in the same quandary as you were looking at adding a Facebook page, only several months behind the curve.
If you don't mind - did you use a personal page or choose the "celebrity, band or business" option? Among those, I don't really see a category for photographers - only "visual artists"? :-/ I'm just new to this whole Facebook thing and haven't a clue where to start. ha ha

I wasn't quite sure what option to use either, so I ended up going for the Business option. Although I've noticed a lot of photographer go for the Visual Artist option.
