"Boys of a Scandinavian Paradise" editorial in Carbon Copy

Hands up this shoot has been one of my favorite shoots I have done all year! There has been others that are right up there as well, but this one was definitely one of them. Firstly because I shot it in Stockholm, secondly because I managed to play with my Scandinavian side and bringing that into my work and third because of the people.

My Scandinavian team for this shoot feels like a little family already. My stylist, Linda Palmcrantz, I would pretty much marry if I could. She had an amazing ability to take my brief of what I wanted styling wise, then do some mind-reading and translate that into the perfect look for the boys. I have worked with a lot of great stylists, but Linda has that extra magic bit that made me feel like she was completely connected to my mind and what I wanted to achieve. Assisted by super lovely Jasmin Stemberg-Fischer.

My hair stylist, Hanse Andersson, was amazing and also completely understood my vision of what I wanted hair wise. How he managed to do that weird hair on Nils I wanted, is still beyond me, but I was happy! And my photographic assistant, Sandra Green, wasn't only a great support on the day, but also spent days preparing for my shoot before I even got to Sweden, helping find a location and make sure everything would flow smoothly on the day.

And let's not forget the boys! Adam, Arwid & Nils (Stockhomlsgruppen) and Helge (M+P / Kid of Tomorrow) was such little stars! They gave everything, adapted to my quirky little ways, and pushed themselves outside their comfort zone in order to get the best images possible.

Had the best day ever. And although it had snowed a week before, the Swedish heaven decided that on that day it would give us blue sky and sun. That is a definite ten points to the universe!
