A Pavel Baranov Film

A little film thingy I did with the ever so awesome Pavel Baranov (Oxygen Models). Music was chosen by Pavel as we wanted to create something that showed a hint of the essence of who he is.

How excited was I when I got to shoot with Pavel Baranov!? I mean, like how amazing is he!

Ok... excitement over, but not quite. I've been wanting to shoot Pavel forever and when he had a visit back in London I had the opportunity to shoot this little fashion film with him.

I wanted to capture Pavel as Pavel so kept styling and hair super natural and a very downstated and relaxed styling (by Aigul Sembayeva). Working with video was also something I have wanted to do forever, so it was perfect that this was something Pavel was keen to do. It was such an awesome day getting to work with someone I advise a lot and he lived up to every expectation. Not only is he a great model for stills, but delivered so naturally for film as well.

So happy with the film result and felt I was able to capture a bit of his essence through the end result. I will post the video here super soon. In the meantime you can check it out on Male Model Scene. We also did some images after spending the majority of the day on the video. Thought I'd post some outtakes from my editorial shoot with Dominic Nutt.

"I am love" editorial in Status Magazine

So proud of this editorial I did with Craig David Hills (styling) and Gosia Peruzynska (hair & make-up) for Status Magazine with models Kathleen (M+P) and Shauna (Elite). A pure female editorial is rare for me, but am proud of this team effort. And after dragging them all far out into the depths of the English country side for an amazing location and a very hospitable english gentleman, it's nice to see the final spread in this lovely magazine.

I loved working with the dresses which were amazing, the colours and all the femininity to create this editorial. I always find it so inspiring when I'm working with a great location, as that brings so much creativity to my work to see how I best can use it to create something interesting and beautiful.
